Self-care is a recognition of the power, responsibility, and power each person has to take care of themselves. This is a mechanism that does not need a person to activate it but is activated naturally as long as an organism lives. Self-care is the mechanism that allows the body, emotion, mind, and soul to heal themselves without external intervention. Our consciousness can adopt the same mechanism and direct it to its personal goals.
A self-healing mechanism happens anyway. Our goal is to use it to direct it to the goals of our awareness, whether personal or collective. The person is a synergy to the perfection he represents. Therefore, if I start from the assumption that I am a part of a larger whole, it means that I have the attributes of that whole in a more concentrated way.
From this it is deduced that we can take care of ourselves, assuming and we believe that a force external to us can take care of the essence that we identify as who we are.
Healing is a process that begins with distraction. Healing is a natural mechanism of the body, as any attempt to direct it only hinders it even more. As a result, a conflict arises between the healing process and awareness. When we turn to take care of ourselves and make ourselves the sole authority over our pain situation, we must realize that we will be responsible for two parallel processes: the healing itself that will take place outside of our awareness and the distraction from it that will allow it to happen.
What is a self-care plan?
A personal treatment plan is a plan that defines the two parallel healing processes. It is important to create it in stages to maintain the distraction of awareness and the freedom of the healing itself to happen. The classic program includes the following components:
Goal – Make sure your goal is not a result. The goal should include the three tenses about the subject of seeking healing: Where have you been in the past? Where are you currently? Where would you like to of be in the future? Your goal will be your compass for the rest of the way. Whenever you feel confused you can go back to it and know what stage you are at.
Resources – what is in your possession and what do you need to achieve to achieve the goal? If you need to get certain resources, plan how you are going to get them. There is no doubt that you will discover surprises along the way, most of the time you will feel that the path is much easier than you thought, but if you anticipate this in advance and depend on the result – you will have to release this dependence along the way
Lifebuoys – every process has difficulties. Prepare yourself in advance for the challenges that will come. Check with yourself what challenges can come in the healing process. What beliefs or patterns you thought were true about yourself will you have to deal with? It can be giving up or re-embracing. Who or what can help you with this?
Self-care meaning
The meaning of self-care is creating an enabling space inside for the natural healing process to happen. As mentioned, these are two processes that support each other. Re-examining the cornerstones of the inner world, along with giving a balanced space and allowing the physical body to heal itself.
A person who can manage his healing process and combine these two processes can leave himself in a balanced state, give up dealing with problems and damages during his development and maximize his abilities to places he did not know and did not know before.
Self care list ideas
Self-healing varies from one person to another. I want to offer 2 main bases for a treatment and healing process that you can adapt to the process you are going through. You can also use these foundations to build self-care processes for other people.
Trust and belief – Trust and belief are the basis on which our organism heals itself. That is why it is useful to bring it to awareness in most healing processes. The ability to trust an external force that a person does not recognize as being an integral and supportive part is the basis for the unique and united connection with the world.
Practice with yourself the possibility of trusting, without depending on the behavior of the other party, without your agreement with his opinions. Trust that trust.
We are all part of a bigger process. Trust and belief allow us to synchronize this assumption to the force that unites all the factors in this process into a being
Love – allow yourself to be one with things. Your words, values, principles, relationships, choices, and decisions.
Be one with it, do not compromise on the full realization of your inner reality in the outside world. Allow yourself not to be afraid of a lack of energy and be the catalyst for your healing process.
What are self-care activities?
There are several criteria that can be used to mark actions that support self-care.
Free expression – actions that create free expression, that is, allow the inner world to be shown externally out of recognition of the abilities and the infinite energy found within us are actions that support healing.
Releasing from fear – actions that allow you to remain in a stable state even if opposing voices arise from within or without are actions that support healing.
Pure listening – actions that allow us to hear the internal and external stories as they are, without turning facts into thoughts are actions that support self-healing.
Easy self-care ideas
Create your self-care puzzle pieces using the following steps:
Balance and preparation of the environment – what will make you feel more relaxed? More peaceful? Are you more ready for in-depth work with yourself?
Personal responsibility – where does reality treat you the way you treat yourself?
Support – Do you need an object to support you in the self-care process? What can resonate the energy you wish for yourself the day after the healing?
In conclusion, self-care starts with you. You are your example of self-healing and the responsibility returns to you. Check how you create in your life as much self-use as possible. It all starts with the simple things: does your throat hurt because there are words that don’t come out of it? Do you need a release from a symbiotic relationship and feel leg pain? Does your head take over your heart because it thinks too much? Sometimes, returning to action of the right role is a practical plan.
