The journey of the soul of people begins from the moment they are born. It has nothing to do with faith, awareness or a consciousness that is open to containing the energy that is beyond the Earth. Every person in the world walks the journey of the soul within the framework of the material world: the country, the community, the religion, the gender, the city and the parents to whom they were born are the story of the framework for their personal development.
The more people enter the same framework, the more the balance between uniqueness and unity increases and the number of opinions becomes more complete and diverse, or alternatively: complete in its very diversity.
The journey of the soul begins to be more conscious and deliberate when people choose to develop. In most cases, this choice occurs from 3 main motives:
- Pain that is not resolved with the help of a normative path and causes people to turn to an alternative path. While a normative path usually resolves the symptoms, an alternative path causes people to change their lifestyle.
- A deep desire, in most cases innate, to fulfill the role in the world and the meaning for which a person exists.
- A deep need for social influence based on self-worth.
In most cases, these motivations for greater awareness of the soul’s journey stem from lack. But there is nothing wrong with that, lack of meaning in the world of lack leads to an exit from the duality between lack and abundance. This process further strengthens the human search for additional answers, new logics and a full and meaningful life.
Stage 1: Self-knowledge
During learning of content and not of development, people learn different contents within the same thinking pattern. On the other hand, in the process of personal development, people learn how to do things and not necessarily what to do. Re-knowledge of the self is necessary in these situations. Both from the aspect of defining the goals around which the new boundaries of choice will revolve and for the deep understanding of all the layers of the new information.
The first step in the process of connecting to the self is the flexibility of definitions. People who begin to develop understand that they can change the definitions they use to understand the world.
But the main challenge they face is the challenge of freedom from proof. They can choose to understand the world in any way they want and that is consistent with their values, but they are not obligated to prove it if it harms or hurts them or other people.
A person who knows themselves is a person with self-determination. They have the ability to challenge the places where they feel safe and strengthen the places where they feel challenged or incongruent with their overall worldview of themselves.
Stage 2: Setting goals
Personal development invites a very clear separation between a goal and an outcome. A goal in this context is an ongoing process that maintains a result over time. On the other hand, an outcome is a final destination that the process ends after you reach it. The goal is the preservation of a character line, value, understanding, or emotion over time.
You can easily define your goals with the help of desire. If you want to get to a new place, you can divide this desire into goals and outcomes. Most of the blockages people face at this stage stem from the fear of commitment. Remember that when you are not developing, your commitment to the content you are learning stems from motives other than desire. This commitment causes people to pay a price for their desire and thus fear the next desire that will arise from them. Lack of commitment creates external desires. That is, desires that fit into the image they want to create in the world. Pay attention – what part of who you are is defined by who you want to be?
Stage 3: Reading Reality
At this stage, your developmental journey meets the external world. You begin to read reality differently because your position within it has changed.
This stage is expressed in your developmental life along two main parallel lines:
- You begin to ask yourself: How does reality behave towards you as you behave towards yourself? In this way, the boundaries between your inner reality and your outer reality become more blurred. This blurring is how your perspective changes through the collaborations that your soul created for you before you came into the world.
- You begin to recognize the fan of perspectives: Flexibility between perspectives comes from maintaining a reasonable distance between them. On the one hand, to observe the perspective; on the other – to be able to learn it without adopting it. At this stage, a space of theory opens up for you that sustains the inner richness of your reality. Also, that space sends signals to your reality so that you can recognize it on the physical plane as well.
Stage 4: Dealing with Difficulties
The stage of transition to spiritual learning and understanding the framework of the laws of life is a stage that lasts for some time on Earth. During this stage, not all the signs, symbols and messages of reality from the previous stage are understood. Reality uses the method of strengthening attention. If you have not understood the message, it will make it more prominent for you. In addition, if you are someone who, while suffering, pays attention to more things, reality will use the same method and bring the lesson to the forefront of your emotional life.
As a result, a lesson may not always be pleasant. In these situations, most people try to shift their perspective from the lesson to preventing symptoms. This shift increases the impact of the symptoms on their lives.
It is recommended to avoid ignoring the life lessons that reality presents to you. But if you are still in a state of being overwhelmed by the symptoms of a lesson that you did not pay attention to, you can use the following tools:
- Responsibility versus exclusivity: free yourself from the need to make yourself the focus of the results. You are the focus of your life’s free choice, but the results you reach do not belong to you alone. Releasing dependence on the result allows your soul energetic access to pain or suffering and gives it the opportunity to heal.
- Service to your values—do not try to prove that you are who you think you are. Flex your definition of self according to the pace of life you choose to live.
Step 5: The Place of the Soul
Your soul goes through your spiritual journey with you. Every time you change, it also changes itself and thus changes its perspective on yourself. Practice objectivity while seeing reality as it is in order to listen to your soul very attentively. It will be able to observe what you choose through itself and give you the most authentic response regarding your journey. This way you can remain committed to your journey through it. Personally, it will already find its place.
Are you ready to find your soul’s place?
