Interior living space – or why people don’t rush to change things that bother them?

Personal development as a soul within a body on earth is a long, continuous, and mostly uncomfortable process.

There is a huge gap between the moment a person recognizes a certain mistake and the moment he chooses to address it. In most cases, this gap can also be intentional. It is much easier for people to accept and contain the given situation than to make an effort, to find a driving force in their inner world and try to change it. From this, it is possible to identify a decisive time between the identification of the difficulty, or the lesson of life, and the time when the development is done and the concept of Interior living space was born—the place where a person is before he makes a development and after he is aware of the problem.

There are many reasons to stay in the inner space that is focused on staying, instead of moving to a place that is focused on development:

First, this place gives me a lot of self-confidence. The illusion of control that comes from observing from the outside is true in itself, but when it comes to the goal of not interacting with the subject of the lesson, it takes away from development. Using observation to not apply the conclusions of a certain lesson is the first point where the delay prevents the actual change from being made.

Second, the illusion of the “watcher” out of context is another inhibitor of change. It is necessary to look at things outside the situation, but the attempt to distance the personal opinion, the emotional and sensory experience is the second inhibitor of change. The attempt to remain neutral without taking an active part in the situation should not come at the expense of the ability not to identify. It is possible not to identify but to take part in the situation, just as we recognize that everything else exists. We know how to give it an idea, and thus it is part of our field of knowledge, but it does not become part of us.

On top of that, the dwelling space reduces the identification with the rest of the laws of space. It is easier to believe that time or energy are not limited when you are not inside them. When you are in the situation before the next situation and after the previous situation. Many people who are in long development processes believe that the ability to be in the transitions between spaces creates tools and skills that they would not have obtained in any other way, and should help them contain information.

It is important to note this reason and the other values written in the article – they are all important and contributing in themselves, but when they are taken as a tool to serve another need, they become sources of regression

To overcome the need for living space, it is important to decide that desire is the top priority.

Intuition is man’s greatest weapon, and it holds the will. The desire for change is what naturally leads man, but as soon as a story of any kind is attached to him, human nature changes, and the space for staying opens up.
